Born Januari 28, 1997, Amsterdam, Jonas grew up in the coastal region of Holland.
Making art for as long as he remembers, Jonas is a multidisciplinary/multigenre artist who focusses on photography, nature, philosophy, visuals and sound. To achieve this, he incorporates a wide spectrum of physical and digital artistic mediums, bringing back analog film, lino, drawing, painting, music, printing and building.
The artist name came about with the introduction of digitally generated art that is often subpar. The name stuck and became an acronym.
The introduction of digital mediums and what we now call Web 3.0 and “blockchain technology” changed a lot; The ability to prove ownership of (digital) art is one of the many reasons why NFT’s are now incorporated into the G.A.S. portfolio.
A way to combine the physical with the digital realm is an ideal worthy of pursuing and a key element in continuous development with G.A.S. Creative Studios.
